When did your brand begin?

Our founder and Cosmetic Chemist, Brittany De Staedtler is an award-winning chemist with over 30+years industry experience.
Posh Brats, a brand that embarked upon its journey 16 years ago, was driven by an enchanting vision. This vision sought to bring back the allure of forgotten British botanical elixirs and traditional apothecary blends from eras long gone. We work from our laboratories in our converted 17th century barns built over the ruins of a medieval monastery, surrounded by the rich Cheshire countryside.

What do you do?

We develop our formulae from scratch in micro-batches with meticulous attention to creating fully sustainable and effective products. The foundation of our work lies in ethically sourcing natural ingredients through wildcrafting techniques, where we carefully select each element with utmost care.
Additionally, our meticulous handcrafting process ensures that each product is made with utmost care and attention to detail that can be lost in fully automated mechanized laboratory settings.

What makes your brand different?

Firstly, our commitment to ethically sourcing natural ingredients through wildcrafting techniques ensures that customers can enjoy the benefits of pure and high-quality botanical elixirs. When wildcrafting isn't an option, we work closely with organic growers around the UK to source our raw materials in their purest forms. We source most of our flowers and herbs locally but some ingredients take us further afield in Britain. This includes seasonal trips to the wilds of Ardnamurchan to harvest different types of Celtic seaweed, the Highlands for bog myrtle and heather honey, and the remote beaches of eastern Scotland for sea buckthorn in late summer.  The nature-inspired remedies we offer provide holistic solutions for various needs, whether it be skincare, relaxation, or aromatherapy.
